Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

Children Learn From Each Other. Govt. elementary schools should be similar to Govt. Sr. Sec. Schools in their formation that small elementary schools should be clubbed to form a bigger school where more number of children study.This step will increase the efficiency of teachers,will reduces financial burden, supervision of schools will be more specific and more children will sit together and learn from each other.

Respected Sir, Hmare desh me Government schoolo ki dasha bahut khrab hai.... Agar Government school me government employee ke bacho ko padhna compulsory kr diya jaye to schoolo ki dasha kafi had tak achi ho skti hai aur isse poor childs ko bhi bahut fayde pahuchega... Aur isse Schoolo me regular classes chalne lagegi, Padhai ka level ucha ho jayega..Teacher regular classes lene lagenge...etc.

निजी स्कूलो पर सरकार की नजर रहनी चाहिए जो नहीं रहती। शहर और गावों मे जगह जगह स्कुले खुल रही है लेकिन उसमे प्राथमिक सुविधा की भी कमी होती है। साथ इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूलो को मातृभाषा मे शिक्षा देना कंपलसरी कर देना चाहिए ताकि बच्चा मातृभाषा भी शिख सके;

First and foremost, we need to bring parity in the education system i.e. Private schools vs Govt Schools. 1) The CBSE/NCERT should also come up with Smart Classes methodology being used in most private schools. 2) There should be regular assessment for teachers. We have seen instances in media where teachers have not been able answer simple questions. 3) Provide high speed internet to each school. Provide opportunities to students to explore beyond textbooks. 4) Library in each school

All Primary govt. Schools should be under CBSE regime and Teachers should be monitored by independent department in every block level who can insure the quality of education provided by teachers and facilities in every school in the block and should submit quarterly report to state educate department and put it online as well print the main issues in local newspaper. I am sure if students get an environment and care the outcomes will be fruitful 110%

My parents and teachers taught me to respect all religions and languages equally. I studied in Hindi medium public school. Not from religious angle, but me & my friends read books containing stories of Lakhsmibai, Iklavya, Arjuna, Bhishma & Karna, Bhagat singh & Azad & many more. This made me to understand that my nation is above all. If we could give this fundamental foundation to our children before we attempt to build anything else, every thing would be possible to achieve.First few years job

The required learning outcome of preliminary education is to build a concrete foundation for multi story. The foundation is strong national feelings, understanding of duties, expected behavior, knowledge of good, bad and ugly, respect for differences such as religion, look or language. Understanding that India is 1 nation & our everything belongs to the secular nation. By reading story books of such examples of national heroes would help that understanding. Child should feel proud to be Indian.
