Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

I am a primary school teacher and after my 2 year observation,I see that most probable reason for children education is low attendance of children due to many causes. I see that people of village are very sincere and interested in government skims and plans related to money. so government will have to add any plan related money(eg bpl,all,Indira aavas,etc) to children attendance. from this I think no of children will increase in school.

In my short span of awareness of my social responsibilities, rationalizing where I stand morally and are my goals alinged to national interests and what cinsequences the generation to come, will face for not realizing the problem in present. I HAVE REALIZED, WE CAN NOT SAVE OUR PRESENT, BUT CAN TRY TO SAVE OUR FUTURE (by including moral, social education and patriotism in our education system). Modi can only dealy a bit the destruction of the nation called Bharat, but cant stop it. No one

We must include subjects like moral values, social awareness and responsibilities towards country and patriotism at all levels of education. Be it a grade 1 or 12 student, pursuing graduation or masters, or even preparing for civil services or professional studies, these topics must be included. Benifits: We will have a gentry of such people in future, who understand the true meaning of the independence, aware of their social and national responsibilities,and will have a desire to work for it

We, the present generation of India has a huge responsibility to shape the future of our contry. We just come out of 1000 years of cruel destruction that has terrribly impacted our educational, moral, social values. We (at a large) are not aligned to our national goals. Not socially educated, morally weak. Resulting in corruption, disrespect to women, communalism and everything that put obstecles to achieve national goals. So, where are we taking our country to? Education is a tool to construct the future of any society and country. The quality and contents of what we teach our students contributes to various social elements in future. Like Japan not only eduacte childern, but also inculcate the sense of social and national responsibilities, that produce socially civilized and aligned to national goals genartation for country. We are passing through the most challenging times in the history of our nation. Let's see why: We have huge population, we have huge debt coupled with weak currency and world is changing very fast due to digital factor. What India we want to see after 30 years? We need to be ready to sacrifice our comforts and luxuries to make a strong foundation in our children. If we are ready to dedicate ourselves for the national service in it's growth story then only we can show the right path to them.

every one in india wants government job but no one want a government school for their wards. today in government schools are the schools for the students who cannot afford the private school and hence no one bother to teach them properly. it must be compulsory for every govt employ to admit his/her ward in local government school so that every one must know about the education standards in govt schools. indian govt is investing heavy amount in education sector every year but no outcome.
