Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

take bath and pray God he was doing so at home. But all this values are dis appearing. The Neo middle class and middle and high class people are sending their children to public / private school and the Govt. School has remained only for the children of economically deprived people. Lets formulate the policy and such syllabus that the value based stories of sanskrit and hindi may also be translated in english and taught in english text books. Some amount from the public schools on students

Mass parents in India think for English medium education from the very child hood and give stress on maths and science. The value based character building stories of Sanskrit and Hindi as well as mother tongue is badly neglected. Our governments, our people , our families are afraid of giving us the cultural teachings at elementary levels. Parents teach A,B,C... first and assume that A,AA,EE is not necessary to survive in this environment. This is the plight of our language. I understand, it is difficult to implement Hindi as a Compulsory National Language, But there cannot be any agitation for SANSKRIT. All our rituals behold this language. Incorporate Compulsory SANSKRIT from Entry Level , See the change then..

We should not always demean our culture at all places and times. We should give some respect to our language & the spirituality of the peoples. In our ancient times, women could chose their husbands and women could do the SHASTRARTHAS openy to prove their points, with the due course of time, now women are being looked as a object. This is the lack of our elementary education and the family atmospheres. To change atmosphere via strategic education reforms is easy..Hope someone can think of this..

Primary Education is base. To keep our Sanskriti Alive, We should have the outdoor yoga classes & Sanskrit teaching at the primary level which will definitely boost our communication from the Leh to Kannyakumari. This is India and Hindu is the major religion, so I feel we should openly support Vedas and Bhagwat Gita teachings. So that the children brought up with good moral values alongwith the scientific approach.. I hope someday any powerful government and leaders with wisdom make it happen.

Primary education is base of education.There are many primary schools are available in each state but due to poor quality of education Nos. of students are less and increasing private schools as a business with only focus .The children's of poor and medium peoples are deprived from good education . Emphasis should be given on Govt. primary schools for increasing education standard for all children .

Elementary school is the base. The approach should be joyful and integrated where all subjects should be thematically woven together and method of teaching should be activity oriented. Please see my power point presentation on the same.

Elementary education should provide the basic knowledge to know about him and the society and its requirement and need, it must inculcate the root of knowledge rather than scoring higher marks and credits in schools .the basic knowledge in the sense that they know the structure of all language alphabet,mathematical symbols,arts and the regional culture and its heritage in simple .to promote this maintain g all shorts of student records as far the record sake or name sake should be taken off .

सरकारें जानबूझ कर शिक्षा का निजिकरण कर रही हैं यह निजिकरण हमारे मौलिक अधिकार शिक्षा का अधिकार को पूरा नहीं करता है सरकारें राजनैतिक दलों के सहयोगी लोगों को शिक्षा का व्यापार करने का मौका दे रही हैं जिस कारण देश का गरीब,असहाय शिक्षा से दूर रहता है।शिक्षा का निजिकरण देश में और भी गरीबी पैदा करेगा।पहले ही देश में बेतहाशा अंधविशवास फैला है लोग कहते कुछ हैं और करते कुछ हैं निजि स्कूलों में कुछ समुदाय अपनी अपनी धार्मिक दुकानें भी चलानी शुरू कर देते हैं जो देश के लिये भी खतरा पैदा करती हैं

सादर, सरकार, शिक्षा अधिकार कानून का सरकारें पालन नहीं कर रही हैं राज्य सरकारें बच्चों व अभिभावकों की चिंताओं को नहीं देख रही, सरकार जितना बजट कालेज शिक्षा पर खर्च करती हैं उतना अगर प्राथमिक शिक्षा पर करती तो हमें उच्च शिक्षा पर अधिक खर्च न करना पडता और परिणाम बेहतर होते सरकार जितना शिक्षा पर टैक्स वसूल करती है उतना शिक्षा पर खर्च नहीं कर पाती महल की ऊपरी दीवारों पर किया गया खर्च कुछ दिन ही महल की शोभा हो सकता है उसके बाद वह महल गिर जाता है यही हाल हमारी प्राथमिक शिक्षा के साथ है
