Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

Need to encourage to all public to do admission in the government school for their kids.But before that Government`s school infrastructure need to improve by the govt. otherwise all our Indian culture will decline towards the western culture. This can be done only via a big leader`s initiative. let start from the big leaders then see the result I am sure all people`s life will be happily because most of the medium class challenge is to provide private school education to their kids......

Student should not pass in govt. school n college until student read , write and pass exam here in india specially in rural area they put forward no quality education please give quality education ...

New Education policy should aim at creating INDEPENDENT THINKERS, not SLAVES FOR MNCs. Elementary Education is the most important step for it. 1) Focus on developing CHARACTER, CONFIDENCE, COURAGE, COOPERATIVE SPIRIT in the child. 2) Sacrifice, cooperativeness, simplicity and humbleness should replace selfishness, competitiveness, complex character and arrogance. 3) Indian languages, Indian history (not through the eyes of Marxist historians) should be given more important.

The education process needs to shift from focusing on education inputs to learning outcomes. Significant emphasis should be given to build the overall system capacity to improve learning outcomes – this can only be done by fostering better teaching-learning practices in the classroom, and by strengthening the school system and administrative governance.

Early education should stress on personality development by teaching Yoga, Stories of Indian freedom movement, development of mental fitness with good food habits. All this is possible with good school teaching staff, who is well trained and live in good conditions. Stress of learning should be minimum till 4th class.

The children who are pursuing elementary education belong to a very tender age. They are always curious to know new things. They can be molded as clay. Its the responsibility of the parents and teachers to shape them into good citizens of India. The lessons and chapters should be in such a way that learn them playfully without feeling any burden.

Most Most Most Most Most Most Most Respected PM sir J Namaste & Jai Hind please make india a education hub by: a make all the indian schools either government or private a world class schools by 100% change their management system all structures of the schools should be change (a) schools building world class (b) dress code should be followed strictly
