Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

1.ALL these type of problems mainly occurs in the rural & backward areas. 2.The teachers that are currently teaching in these schools are not up to the mark. 3.The wages of the teachers need to be increased & simultaneously the quality teachers should be admitted in the schools. 4.The qualifying exam for the teachers should be revamped & needs to be thoroughly discussed. 5.The teacher student ratio should be examined.

we have penetration of primary schools at every kilometre now we need to design the curriculum according to needs of such downtrodden first time learners not to educate them but to literate them with a language and providing them with basic knowledge of some school subjects. After that we should select some bright students from these schools for the next advance level of education with complete resources. Further this filter should be there for the next level and so on...

The only teaching that exits in the world is self teaching, and the only way to encourage child to self teach is by sparking the curiosity that exits in all child but is delebritely destroyed by teachers and parents by forcing it on them!

It is the need of the hour that children should learn subjects by relating to their immediate environment and the learning should be interdisciplinary. The way children learn is very crucial in their elementary years.They should not be pressurized to write and focus on textbooks through rote learning methods.

1. Pvt Schools need to employ/appoint skilled, creative, dedicated & distinct(in educational qualities) to teach Students @ elementary level, because due to low salary structure, schools appoint low-educated or freshers with less knowledge & untrained freshers which result in nothing. 2. Attractive programs must be organised in schools(academic or co-curricular). these programs work more than Akshay Patra or Mid-day meals. Sry to say but Mid-day meal has damaged image of Indian HRD Ministry.

6.put awareness programs to parents who are not willing to send their children to schools 7.They should be grown up in good surroundings 8.Schools must be with greenery surroundings.

1. Arrange good facilities of food in government schools for children who are need in food 2.Surely ensure that there should be a yoga class and physical training class in their daily periods 3.There should be a good sanitary facilities for girls and boys 4.Government school students should have an good uniform and bags which they don't feel they are different from other school students these must be supplied from government 5.Humanity and ethics subject must be included from primary stage

In elementary stage it is very easy to mould children to a good way so that arrange digital class rooms in all government schools which they should see a images and videos related to their subject it is not a new concept but in implementing wise we are very far
