Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

why do they rape as some where so emotionally deprived no charector building there shud be education how to do parenting un fortunately we bcome parent by accident we rear children by whims if the children r looked after with love and discipline given good sanskar they will become helping hand we must teach them value of work

unfortunately we focus only outer the source of everything is within so we must focus in early school on character building how much cameras will be fitted but the crime will be their so yoga exercise the awareness of their own divinity how to be connected with their own soul how to develop compassion for all keep yr mind calm if one can learn these thing automatically other mind faculties were perform much better than their capacities to control from outside is impossible but within possible

Get rid of current Teacher's Teachers. I'm studying at Arizona State University. Last year, there was the group of 50Teaches who came to learn the American Education systems. After my education, I was planning to come back to India, but looking at the behaviors of most of them, I decided that I will come only if the change starts from here. Critical geographical areas where educational backwardness exist due to drop outs,poor access and due to poor economic condition / ignorance of parents shall be identified.Free conveyance,books,food and remedial teaching shall be given. Rural Teaching Service may be set up for resolving the problem with in a time frame.

Let me directly jump to the subject. Very first, we should have the credit systems were students can decide the courses that want to take. Sports should also have the equal credits. Second, I want to share the experience of the USA. I can't register for the course if I have not completed the online certificate of Consent Education regarding the sexual violence. Finally, why don't we have full medical insurance of all the students who enrolled for the school.

When so much salary being paid in Govt. schools, why not there be a bonus system (part of salary) which is linked to the performance of the teachers. Simple but meaningful matrix can be worked out to assess their performance and aids to schools from Govt. should also be based on the outcome and performance of the school.

learning outcomes must be ensured at elementary levels. what has been taught to students is understood by them or not, are subjects relevant or useful to them must be examined at the lowest level it self. rather than exam centered education, skill centered education must be given

give 10 Government schools to private partners who are ready development these schools more than any private schools in next five years since the Government has failed to bring the education in the Government Schools, the Government must fund the actual amount and also other benefits that is spending today to the Private partner to maintain.

The clear emphasis is on absorbing knowledge through reading/listening, integrating it by learning how to think, sharing it with others through class presentations/debates/group discussions. This cyclical process is repeated for every new concept that they are being taught. Because the process is so intensive the course content is less in primary and secondary schools (quite opposite to our teaching methods)
