Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

शिक्षकों को पाठ्यक्रम से मुक्त कर दें और उन्हें लक्ष्य दें की वास्तव में शिक्षण से क्या हासिल करना है, वे उसे प्राप्त करें। चाहे तो वे इसके लिये पुस्तकों की सहायता ले लें। पालकों को समझाया जाए की निजी स्कूलों में अपने बच्चों को भेजने वाले पालक किस तरह घर पर अपने बच्चों को पढ़ाते, उनकी मदद करते हैं। वे भी इसी तरह का प्रयास करें तो बच्चे जल्दी और अच्छा सीखेंगे।

* Give more time to play and learn through enjoyments * Improve the vocabulary through words game. Eg:Anthakshari-It can be originated on the basis of text book or not.Let one child to tell one word then let another child or another group to tell another word which start with the last letter of the word told by the first group/child. Nurture the sapling, we can harvest the fruits in long run.Provide the child with quality education, it will have far reaching affects in inclusive development. Parents has the great responsibility in this regard, right from choosing the school to transforming the child in all aspects. This age for children is very important.

Today we need to teach students HOW TO THINK and not WHAT TO THINK. We need a subject called CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS For this we also need to reduce content of present syllabus. One need not learn in school detailed Chinese & Russian Civilizations. Knowing about one's home state and motherland is enough at school level.

अमरीका सबसे आमिर देश है वहा के स्कूल / कॉलेज साल के शुरआत में बच्चो को किताबे देते है और साल के अंत में वापस लेलेते है ताकी दुसरो बच्चों को पड़ने के लिये दे सके सोचो अगर हमारे देश में भी अगर ऐसा हो जाये तो कितना अछा होगा सोचो कितना कागज बचे गा कितने हरे भरे पेड पौधे बचे गे सरकार पेड पौधे को बचने के लिया कितना पैसा ख़र्च करती है एक नई सोच बदल दे हमारा देश हमारा दुनिया और हमारे देश के गरीब का पैसा अगर सरकार चाहे मोदी जी चाहे तो क्या नहीं हो सकता
