Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

Whenever a new IIM OR IIT is opened , initially they are mentored by some old IIM or IIT. Why cant we can replicate the same in primary education sector. Every district has a renowned school which people benchmark. Why cant such school mentor the one or two school of nearby area.

Scrapping annual exams in primary schooling.Introduce flexible evaluation system in subjects like maths and languages,making it topic wise evaluation so that no part of the basics remains lagging.

Elementary education is the main foundation of higher education.Government run schools should attract the children with promising best outcomes and competing others.One India one education system with Indian culture and education should be followed to minimize the differences created by others.Sanitation,moral values with awareness should be taught to fight against diseases and antisocial activities.All the schools (govt. and Others) should be strictly and regularly inspected and supervised.

all school systems should be monitored by young dedicated IAS. punishment must be high to those who are not doing their job properly. all government school students must be provided free transport facility to go to best and interested govt. schools. more govt. residential schools are needed that should be regularly monitor/inspect. all the teachers should stay near to school don't do up & down from long. should give assurance to parents for their chid future. should stop private school system.

Respected Sir, we feel proud to have such thing that take suggestions from all the people whether it follow or not but this is good thing this should implement to all departments states to know the situation in bottom level. present government primary secondary education system in bad condition. because of no correct inspection no dedicated teachers(Very few are dedicated).they are doing other duties than teaching Like Real estate,insurance all other private affairs than teaching. should stop

jis desh mein ncert schhol books nahi use ho sakti wahan par tarraki nahi ho sakti. Teachers other author books suggested to students for commision purpose for eg .in sophia convent school kalka haryana teachers or principal,father of schhol are only one motto money then how it possible we rise. Satbir Bedi Chair person of cbse write also to that but till date none of action on that.Sir we are write their for our stasifaction but none of them read it Modi ji its happenn only in india thanks

Presently School Curriculum is not job oriented. College Education (BA,Bcom) etc is not job Oriented . School curriculum should be job oriented. so that if required , student should get some good job (not as a peon) with Class X/XII education .

विद्यार्थियों में सर्वप्रथम शिष्टता एवं सदाचारिता ही कूट-कूट कर भरनी चाहिये । विद्यार्थियों के नैतिक और चारित्रिक विकास से सम्बन्धित विषय-वस्तुयें भी होनी चाहिये । सुधारात्मक अनुशासन विद्यार्थियों पर बराबर रहना चाहिये । इसके साथ ही किसी भी पारिवारिक व्यक्ति को गुरुजन बन्धुओं के अनुशासन में दखल नहीं देना चाहिये । अपने पुत्र-पुत्रियों को गुरुजन बन्धुओं के निर्देशन में ही सदा रखना चाहिये । प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा में क्रमोनत की अनिवारियता नहीं होनी चाहिए .
