Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

1-Govt.aided schools should be given 100% aid. 2-cash of any kind should not be distributed to students in schools,remove discrimination. 3 Mid Day meal scheme should be stopped as parents ( mothers) are becoming careless towards children. 4- Teachers should not be given any kind of work other than teaching.

1-skill development is necessary. 2-CCE at all levels should be abolished. 3-yoga and exercise must compulsory for students as well as teachers. 4-school time 6 hours & should be 5 days a week. 5-teachers should have more rights and freedom to teach from formal edu.limits .

I would like to propose below points:- 1.Ensure mother tongue. 2.Burden of book should be reduced. 3.Learning by doing. 4.Three category of teaching body, mind, intellect. 5.Development of skills in students. 6.No of students should not more than 25

प्रारंभिक स्तर की शिक्षा में पठन-लेखन व अभिव्यक्ति के कौशल को छात्रों के कौशालानुरूप विकसित करने के प्रयास करने चाहिए . हर छात्र का अपना बौद्धिक स्तर होता है, जिस स्कूल में सिर्फ निखारने की आवश्यकता है . इसके लिए छात्रों को विभिन्न कैटेगरी में बांटकर, उनकी अपनी क्षमता अनुसार कौशल विकसित किया जा सकता है . बेहतर छात्र-अध्यापक सम्बन्ध, मूल्यपरक शिक्षा एवम् सुगम पाठ्य सामग्री से छात्रों का सर्वांगीण विकास संभव है तथा इससे बेहतर अधिगम परिणाम प्राप्त हो सकते हैं .

needs to be controlled and the children (the little ones) should be provided with opportunities of tomorrow so that we could proceed a new BHARAT a Shashakt BHarat. Want to address a lot things but perhaps.......................................

outside. See how much time we are killing. A student invests 7-8 hours a day in school come back and goes to tuitions classes. The time for his/here development by playing outside goes into tuitions and the real development of a character/personality is being lost. The child is overburdened with the weight of his/her bag, why cannot be have a unique education system where all the schools follow a particular curriculum by opting for similar set of books? the no so referred profit making industry

to highlight it here. see and feel that these institutions have made education a way to gather money. To my understanding when any activity is performed with a motive of earning money it looses its true sheen. perhaps gone are those days when we used to recite verses of Gita in our morning assembly. WHy it has happened needs to be analysed. the education system should be brought back to its reality, reality where students respect their teachers from heart when they need not to move for tutitions

the concept of the privatisation of education has been, to my understanding, for advancement of a charitable purpose for our children for future of tomorrow with strict gudidelines of no profit and no loss concept. But just see and understand in last ten years particularly what these institutions have done. the so called owners of these institutions have amessed srores of rupees under the belt of stating that these institutions are being run on no profit and no loss basis.
