All bigs shops, restaurants, sweet shops, banks ATM counters & night clubs in sec17, 22,35,26,8,9 etc should be asked to install high quality ccd cameras outside their shops giving street view & should be made mandatory. They look for police help in case problems, instead they should also be made responsible by providing at least this surveillance system & maintaining it.

Chandigarh is also a good city. It has many educational institutions, colleges, public schools, employment sectors etc.The city should be treated on equal par with all other cities of India.

At PGI, sec-16 & 32 Govt hospitals, chemist shops shouldn't be auctioned. The chemist tries to makeup for higher auction price by providing poor services to the patients. Objective is lost, the purpose of having chemist shops inside the complex is to ensure good quality medicines & aids to patients & not just to earn money. Institutions can earn reasonable amt by assessing the expected sales bsd on last year's sale, no of outlets, quality of service which is very imp, reputation & ethics in bcz.

Land for optimum use: Chandigarh is area is locked between Punjab and Haryana. It has not chance of expansion. We have to create space within its existing boundary. In case we work toward making Chandigarh a city without over head wire and poles all wire should be underground and poles should be removed. This way we could free valuable land for other use and it will add to beauty of the city

Garbage collection: We can request the resident to segregate the garbage in colored bin and then hand it over to different garbage collector who come on different frequency as some garbage would require daily lifting and other may be collected bi weekly also. This would not put load on distribution system. The dustbin should be provided by the Administration to all resident free of cost as Administration would save lot time and resources it uses in segregation of garbage

One side we are talking for eschewed ratio of male & female in the country specially in the northern states and on the other side we are silent spectators to their fatal road accidents. Exemption of not wearing helmets is only for Sikh ladies, while we see every girl & lady seems to be not wearing helmet. Can Adm not find a way to challan the girls which is in their own interest.

UT/MC must be role model for city's citizens. If their depts are flaunting the rules then u cannot expect citizens to follow the rules. We see CTU buses emitting black smoke on the road, polluting the air. CTU staff hv to ensure that all buses regularly undergo pollution tests and action should be initiated action against the concerned for dereliction of duty.

There should be plenty of job options available in UT. A city will not be termed as "smart-City" until it cannot provide job to it's youth. Its sad so see that Chd is hub of students and retired elders, youth of city is moving toward other cities. Being in IT with work ex of 5-6 years if i want to move to Chandigarh, but i cannot see any option else than infosys which can give me a stable carrier. MNC's like Accenture, Wipro and other consulting firms should be invited to chd.
