Iam a Surgeon treating facial deformities.Iam associated with Yenepoya university, a leading deemed university in Mangalore Karnataka.
Children and people born with facial defrmity require multiple hospital admissions, continued treatment and care from different specialists for up to 17 to 20 years of age.
A working model could be created by the ministry of health in planning to associate with universities to impart quality care to these people.

We spend nearly half of our time on social media like Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter etc. So what we can do is that on these social media sites we, I mean each of us, can post advertisement regarding maintenance and conservation of heritage, hist. sites and ancient monuments, promotion of literary, and performing arts and promotion of inst. of Buddhist and Tibetan studies without at any cost. It is not only the duty of gov. to look after it.So this is how social media can contribute towards it.

1. Make it mandatory for all newspapers to run an article on Indian History and Culture (not to confuse with europeon/socialist version) on lines similar to speaking tree in TOI. Run these articles on holidays, festival days giving out importance of the particular festival etc.
2. Every TV ch pvt or Govt will run tit-bits/briefs of Ind Hist & cul before airing imp pgms. Provide a link to website which will elaborate the brief. Also a newsrreel before ever movie.
3. A History ch on DD.

As Katy perry and many other hollywood artists have changed to hinduism and many artists like snoop lion and others changed to islam, this is our culture and heritage that promotes itself, so just keep the originality of our religion and keep every monument and religious place clean, it promotes itself... just keep it original.

In a time when the news just covers issues that divide people on cast, religion etc. need a campaign from the government that shows what my country really is. Please drive a campaign with all the stars of India like Mary Kom, Sunil, Saina, Sania etc. that this is the country that made them. Please consider as I will like my children growing up to a them like "Mile sur mera tumhara" that I grew up listening and watching.
We need it for our children to realise that they live in a great country

Make a separate tv channel which should be fully owned by government, broadcast free of cost to all over India and make some foreign collaboration so that you can broadcast it in some other countries. Now what would be the moto of it? I have found that there are hundreds of beauty and amazing things which is hidden in our cultures, tradition, in our villages, into the people. It can be shown and presented in a most effective and positive way.I have more Ideas but word is left less here to share.
