We have a cultural heritage which is one of the richest in the world. Most of our monuments are neglected and not maintained well. I suggest, we should involve companies in a Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. This will create an enabling win-win scenario for all stake holders, including the employees.

COUNTER PRIVATE TV CHANNEL CAMPAIGN OF DIVIDING HINDUS AND PROMOTING NON-HINDU RELIGIONS-by-AKASHWANI AND DOORDARSHAN : People have stopped opening private TV news channel, as they are full of divisive debates like dalit-vs-non-dalit or backward-vs-non-backward. Every criminal incident is malafidely converted by private TV channels into a situation of one-caste-fighting-other. Secondly, every hindu temple/festival/activity/saint is defamed. We dont see such attacks on muslims or christians. WHY?

The traditional value of Indian culture & heritage has to reach international stage. But how? promotional videos? social sites? nope. A tourist would like to have a virtual tour of their destination. Is that possible? Here's what my suggestion is -"DHARSHA" a Tele-presence robot which can be controlled from anyplace with video streaming. A robot is placed in each place with its own path to roam. It can be controlled with any smart phone/laptop/tab/PC with internet through video call through NET.

DD should collaborate with foreign channels like Discovery and Nat Geo to produce programs on Indian culture and heritage. Most of the current program is mostly documentary types with very ordinary visuals. With new technology like Drones investment must be made to create a DD HD channel for Science , culture and heritage. Also it must be broadcasted in local languages. There can be a PPP between discovery and DD to share the revenue.

Media makes or breaks the society. The role of media in promoting our heritage & culture is manifold & points to take into account are : 1. Avoid totally western influence 2. Coverage of national monuments, heritage cities/sites 3. Extensive national integration themes 4. Rural reach to influence the truly local art, artifacts, folklore & culture 5. Drawing attention of Youth to India's rich diverse culture & heritage 6. The mass media coverage should NOT be only electronic media, but much more.

Dear Team,
When we speak about Promoting our Culture and Heritage, we forget that we ourself think only about adopting wester culture at the start. Once we realize that we are actually pretending to be modern civilized than being original. We cant request people to watch, learn promote our culture/heritage, rather make it as mandatory . All schools should have 1 hour session for culture and 1 hour for our traditional martial arts. Most of the art of ours are seen only in the internet. Lets join
