The mandate of the Ministry of Culture is to preserve, promote, explore and share India’s culture and heritage along with ethos and values for the benefit of mankind. For achieving this Mission, the Ministry undertakes the following activities:

• Maintenance and conservation of heritage, historic sites and ancient monuments
• Administration of libraries
• Promotion of literary, visual and performing arts
• Observation of centenaries and anniversaries of important national personalities and events
• Promotion of institutions and organizations of Buddhist and Tibetan studies
• Promotion of institutional and individual non-official initiatives in the fields of art and culture
• Entering into cultural agreements with foreign countries

The functional spectrum of the Ministry ranges from creating cultural awareness from the grass root level to the international cultural exchange level. Details about several Schemes which are administered by Ministry of Culture for providing financial assistance for promoting cultural activities are available on the Ministry’s website (http://indiaculture.nic.in/).

Also, various organizations under the Ministry of Culture organize cultural programs and events from time to time.

The Ministry has decided to invite suggestions from the public regarding innovative ideas for effective use of Media in promoting Indian Culture and Heritage.

It is requested that the individual suggestions may be limited to about 200 words.

Music in Indian movies has degraded a lot today. 1. Songs of yesterday-years had beautiful lyrics and tune. Today, music has become loud noise with filthy lyrics. Indian music is completely missing. 2. Music directors need formal training and regulations. 3. Indian singers need to be given preference over foreign singers.4. Classical training of singers should be mandatory.

हमे कल्चर को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सुपर स्टार का सह ारा लेना चाहिए वो अगर इन प्रोग्राम के लिए ऐड करे और इन कार्यक्रमो में हिस्सा ले तो इससे बढ़ावा मिलेगा और ये प्रोग्राम सन्डे को ही टीवी पर आये तो और जेयाद अच्छा होगा

Indian Heritage & culture is very historic there is so many places in India which have big story behind that Media can play an important role to groom the story according the present culture and present between citizen of India moreover popular artist could become the brand ambassador of such places so that Tourism sector of India can improve moreover there participation should be free of cost that will show there responsibility toward nation media can explore these heritage in front of world

Indian Media is corrupt,they are working for money only.Make some limit for them,They are interested in Murder case (shina or talwar )or hang case(Mumbai).Limit of advertisement for hourly basis,10% max time of advertisement.Give them responsibility of content of adv.If any body find wrong then punish him.Ask them to choose some Public or Indias problem (corruption,Inflation,unemployment)and discuss and come up with solutions and give feed back to govt.

Make mandatory for every service provider to show Govt channels,If any body want to see only govt channels give his/her ,fix minimum amount like Rs 50/-per month,Now service providers charges lots of money and so many service providers not showing govt channel,regional channels,its made compulsory for every service providers to show govt channels on free of charges or first basic charges of Rs 50/-or less.

Respected sir..I travelled to many part of china and i must admire the cultural heritage and sites which they have preserved is far amazing.The infrastructu which they have build around the area of the spot. we need to do the same way. All cultural area has to be given a * star ranking. the best would consider has 5* and a compete can be created from one state to another state. There can be a huge scope in our country for the tourism unless if we really don't provide with the basic infrastructur

First of all media must be positive in all topics they must not work for their trp's and for profit. Their must be strictly laws for negative news that shown on tv. Like china us. No news of religious intolerance,discrimination,conflicts,face to face interview with other country,etc. officials should be shown after taking permission from PMO

1. Restart TV program like popular TV serial Surabhi. 2. Sponsor programs on Indian culture on BBC and other foreign channels. 3. Subsidize films, serials, books, artists dealing with INdian culture and heritage. 4. Make Museum visits a popular activity among people. Museums should be world class, informative and easy to access. 5.Scholarships for students learning Indian Music, art or dance.

The cost of the BULLET PROOF is only 35K . If we buy or manufacture by us for our own 10laks odd soliders we can stop of getting killed by the millitants. So we provide 100% BF jackets to the jawans. The cost would come down if it is buik order. but it would done within India by Make in India scheme. Just use a months kalal tax on petrol to this . It will stop all killings .
