The Government of India issued guidelines for the promotion of payments through cards and digital means on 29th February, 2016. The guidelines can be seen (here). A Committee was also constituted under the Chairmanship of Shri Ratan P Watal, Principal Advisor, NITI Ayog and Former Finance Secretary with key industry stakeholders, RBI and concerned Government Departments to review medium term measures necessary to promote the digital payment system in the Country. The Committee’s report can be seen here.

The Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India invites public Comments / suggestions on the report. We invite you to read the report and provide your valuable feedback and suggestions by 11th January 2017. The final decision on the Report will be taken after considering the comments/suggestions received on the Report.

1. Make swiping machine is mamandatory for all shops, offices,school,college wherever citizen needs to pay money. 2. All state ND central government officials including Railway should use swiping machine. 3. Make it mandatory for real estate, buying car and all high value transactions through dd,cheque or online transaction only. 3.make law as nobody can withdraw and deposit cash above 5000 per week. 4. Swiping machine should be available in few days nd can get in very reduced price.

1. Make it mandatory for all shops, business house, school, college wherever citizen needs to pay money implement cashless payment facilities like install POS machine, Open online payment facilities, cash transfer through bank account (BHIM App) 2. Make it mandatory for real estate, buying car and all high value transactions though bank loan only. 3. Make Corporate / Business bank account no cash account. That means nobody can withdraw and deposit cash in those account. Or put a limit.

The move to demonetization is great,but that doesn't prevents black money in future. Declaring Rs 10,000 and above transactions in cash as illegal will prevent this from happening again. In addition when businesses makes deposits their cash deposits should less than 10% or below Rs 1 lakh per day.

Please make it compulsory to all entities who does business, in what ever fields. Arrange surprise visits and fine them who don't have digital payment options. Like purana shops to restaurants to dhaba. Please add pos system in railway n bus booking counters.

i)All digital payments SMS notifications should be made mandatory and free. ii)There should be an option to add more than one mobile number per bank account for Notification. iii)Adding a number for notifications should be easy like sending an sms "Add " to a centralised 5 digit number. All cards having the sender number as registered number should start sending notifications to the new number as well. iv)Simplify the language of notification, don't use debited credited.
