Please bring in Data consistency standards across all Central and State information systems. Let that be while displaying or Input. For ex, Citizens name has to be "Salutation/Title First Name Middle Name, Last Name". Similarly States Names, Govt Agencies names, postal codes, phone numbers, email, faxes etc. They have to displayed and entered only in this format. Guidelines to be given and no special format for any reason. De duplication processes, inconsistent UIs are plaguing our portals.

Implementation along with change management is required to make any programme successful. Currently I am working in Government and sincerely believe that change management is and essential factor. Going towards the open Application Programme interface policy, there are a number of markets wherein a number of applications are running so similarly in the same fashion if we are creating a pool of services and make it available then it would be easy for the citizen and Govt.
