A good API makes it easier to develop a program by providing all the building blocks. The Government Site Data.gov.in also provide API for various services that is Open Government Data Platform for Programmers. As well other countries government site is also given Open Data Sites(http://www.data.gov.in/opendatasites) . So the data from API should Be OPEN for ALL to INITIATE or INTRODUCE various SERVICES which is not yet introduced.
