Indian National Defence University Bill, 2015 proposes to establish a world class fully autonomous institution of National Importance under Ministry of Defence. University will develop and propagate higher education (PhD, M Phil, M Tech and M Sc) in National Security Studies, Defence Management and Defence Technology and promote policy oriented research on all aspects relating to national security, both internal and external. It would also encourage awareness of national security issues by reaching out to scholars and an audience beyond the official machinery. Initially, four new colleges / institutions, namely School of National Security Studies, School of Defence Technology, School of Defence Management and Centre for Distance and Open Learning are proposed to be set up at main campus at Binola, Gurgaon. The four existing Defence Institutions namely National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad, Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington and National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Pune are proposed to be brought under the ambit of INDU without diluting their powers or autonomy for award of degrees and diplomas.

Give max consideration to implement Non Violence practically, thru your curriculum. Without will for Non Violence, building an effective security system for India is less than half baked. Take Non Violence to International Stage, Let the world experience Nonviolence in international affairs. We - Indians needs to take initiative in establishing International (UN) Council for Non Violence to solve International disputess without armed sruggle. This will be tribute to our Freedom Fighters!

Sir, today I was listening to your Mann Ki Baat"programme on TV,andI was quite impressed the way you very well spoken about the issue of antibiotic resistance,a technical point, which I so often faced in my clinical practice of 31 yrs in Raj.This reflects how much you have read the subject and might have discussed with my fellow collegues.

Respected sir, In my opinion institutions like these should also be set up in states were anti national activities are taking place because then only the people over there will get a chance to mingle with people from other states and realise the beauty of Bharat matha. At the same time attracting youth from such places to these institutions will help us to create a nation supporting generation.and this will help in bringing an end to anti national problems in the future.jai hind

Sir there should not be any age limit to get into this university. The university should allow part time contributions from professionals. Also, there should be some sort of mandatory contribution from students of elite institutions through the form of research or contribution. The bottomline is getting into this university should be as attractive as getting into Ivy League universities. Also, BTech and MTech students from IIT's and NIT's should do atleast one full year project.

Respected sir, In my opinion the main problem our country is facing is that we have got talent but due to reservation policies mainy greatly talented young individuals are not getting their chances. So in my opinion atleast institutions like these of national importance should take admission on the basis of pure merit.Thank you Jai hind
