Indian National Defence University Bill, 2015 proposes to establish a world class fully autonomous institution of National Importance under Ministry of Defence. University will develop and propagate higher education (PhD, M Phil, M Tech and M Sc) in National Security Studies, Defence Management and Defence Technology and promote policy oriented research on all aspects relating to national security, both internal and external. It would also encourage awareness of national security issues by reaching out to scholars and an audience beyond the official machinery. It will also serve as a think tank contributing to policy formulation and debates on security and strategy. INDU will inculcate and promote coordination and interaction not just between the three Armed Services but also between other agencies of the Government, the Civil Bureaucracy, Para Military Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, Intelligence Services, Diplomats, Academicians, Strategic Planners, University Students and officers from Friendly Foreign Countries. It would create synergy between the academic community and Govt functionaries. It would make available opportunities for higher studies through distance learning to interested military personnel.

Initially, four new colleges / institutions, namely School of National Security Studies, School of Defence Technology, School of Defence Management and Centre for Distance and Open Learning are proposed to be set up at main campus at Binola, Gurgaon. The four existing Defence Institutions namely National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad, Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington and National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Pune are proposed to be brought under the ambit of INDU without diluting their powers or autonomy for award of degrees and diplomas.

The last date for sharing inputs on Draft Indian National Defense University Bill, 2015 is 21st August, 2016.

Dear Sir, I think it is high time to start the Defence University. We need to design missiles that would be attacking even China and not only Pakistan. The Defence University should first teach discipline in all ways. It should induce the feel of Indianness to the students. It should not be conducted based on religions. Yoga should be a compulsory subject. Subjects on LOC and LAC should be made compulsory. Technology to be taught at the defence level should be dealt. Should be CORRUPTION FREE.

The word 'Defence management' should be relaced ubiquitously with 'Defence Planning and Management' The above will substantially enlarge research areas and thus contribute towards the organisational interest

I like to say that in the Defence university the labs are given to the students and students will be managed by yourselves. 2.There is a travelling system in the institute or institute will permit to keep vehicles to the students.Because they are postgraduate students. 3.The study method is only experiment basis.Examination will be taken on the basis of only experiment.Because you know how to perform the experiment you can do everything.

R/sir,madem 1.NO resvertion is alloted in University. 2.Any type of Expermant is not ban in the Uni. Campus 3.Student have a power to say their problems direct higher authrity. 4.No fund problem 5.Best and highly qulifed faclty is appointed. 6.Green and pollution free campus. 7.Well equiped lab is must . 8.Wi-fi is must avilable.

i like this initiative, without defense we can not become superpower. my suggestions are below - Give as much budget as possible to this university. - Only consider the quality for getting admission. - Get best (Indian / foreign) professors with best ability and lot of field experiance. - Give a free hand to students after admit.

Its a good news for 7th Pay commission but private Company minimum salary is Rs.9500 per month and govt. employee minimum salary is Rs.20000 per month. Why there is a discrimination in Pvt. & public, while private sector job is not secured. How can people think for 'MAKE IN INDIA' people always busy to earn two time Roti, they don't want do MAKE IN INDIA.

R/Sir, For better growth of my country please teach actual history to all students.Conrol lie propagandas of the country and make police frindly not hostile so that each citizen can share goodness of the country. Regarding ,INDU,there is no need of any bill it must be directly implement for safety of my country.

IIT's IIMs, IAS and other UPSC training government engineering and medical college ban on Four kaliyug agents Hinsa-Murder, Balatkaar-Rape,Mahila mixing with purush, Jua- , Sharaab etc with seperate education,hostel, medical and engineering colleges, train bus,plain services for boys and girls Ban on Porn, ban on Daaru, Ban on Jua, ban on murder with all punishment upto hanging be established as Sharia. Arms for Hindu be free if educated graduate from reputed colleges with vedic education.

Indian National Defence University Bill, 2015 should be modified with vedic, puran, upnishad, gita, ramayan, ramcharitmanas eduction to be imbibed in all global, Indian , Statelevel universities, board secondary and primary education, Islamic terrorism can be countered by Indian culture in pure aryan culture.
