The four existing Defence Institutions namely National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad, Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington and National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Pune are proposed to be brought under the ambit of INDU without diluting their powers or autonomy for award of degrees and diplomas.

My Important Suggestion 1. This defense university may be combination of All Indian vedik shastra knowledge and Modern Knowledge of world. 2. This Central University has 5-6 branches in some state where most of people joined Defense services. 3. All NCC and NSS candidate have some % for the admission process. 4. We also organize Pathan Regiment for Indian and afghan Muslim against Muslim terrorism. 5. All type of war technique must include in this syllabus.

Great idea. I consider training is the most important aspect not only for effective performance of duty but economy of operations; a well trained soldier would also effectively use resources provided to him. Exposure to latest technology and weaponary would be feasible in a dedicated institute.

Civil life people hv misconception for Science & Technology where mileading is carried giving birth to national crisis & war.Our govt hs to underline strictly the understanding of Transform economy thus giving our first rigth to National Defence. Todays Defence is not only war between countries but also Defence has all sorts of Life Science R&D as well as made our stand comfortable in the developed countries.Such Institutions should be more supported.

(g) Research and Consultancy for Functional Levels. While higher military thought and conceptual frameworks are attractive fields, the real need of our organisations today are to find solutions to seemingly mundane yet highly critical problems that plague functional levels. There must be provision for selected junior leaders including Young Officers, JCOs and NCOs also to study and contribute at the university.

Study of Military History. Documentation and recording of our military history has been a weak point. A school dedicated to study of Military Heritage of India must also be a part of INDU.
