Patriotisms is the most essential ingredient in national integrity and defence. Defence parks in all the States should be under ministry of defence, so that start up companies can undertake the defence research and production activities .

It is good to have such an University. Let this be ideated and set up by the military themselves without interference from the bureaucracy. Also the emphasis apart from the regular curriculum should also be on cyber intelligence and warfare.

Hon. Sh. MODIJI, In Public/Govt./Nation Interest, It is most respectfully requested that do not loose this opportunity, of Independence Day i.e. 15th August, 2016. I want to say that: 1. The admission to various courses should be purely on merit basis through an entrance conducted by IITs/IIMs or UPSC without any bias for cast, creed, religion, gender or existing Rank in Defence. There are so many bright young men below Officer rank who excel outside defence; that talent should be tapped for defence. Admission should be a fair mix of civilians and defence personnel so that it doesn't become private Ryan.

The idea is good but in India most of the good projects are controlled by non deserving people. They present very good picture of their organization to the Govt. The focus of Higher Education Institutes has been on research and teaching but quality of both is missing. Instead of focussing on marks and number of publications focus on quality. If with this humble will the institutes are set then the bill is fine. India needs people of educated people of Character not literates and sycophants

It is good move indeed to have a defense University.(1)It should cover defense education from school level to research level. So that students wants to go for defense education will be physically and mentally prepared for their career.(2)NCC to be brought under the umbrella of INDU for more professionalism.(3)Merchant Navy is considered to be second line of defense. So bring Government owned Training Ship/Institute under INDU.(4)School of Defense food Technology to start.(5)S/O Defense tailoring.
