Discussion in Round 2 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge, as part of the process, Haldia Municipality is organizing a Discussion Forum where prominent citizens will take up the Pan-city smart solutions and Area Based Development issue suggested by the citizen through Comment for discussion. Citizens may post their Smart Solutions, Addition and Alteration on Draft Proposal. Please participate in discussion online by login to MyGov.

Urban Transport system of Haldia should be devise and introduce mobility solutions in terms of routes, modes, means and networks, which would be efficient, less energy consuming and sustainable. I suggest we should start night bus services for the industrial worker because they could not find any bus after 8:00Pm in the city.

Please include a mega logistic hub for heavy Vehicles coming to Haldia Port and other Industries at the time of making final Smart City Plan.

Haldia being a multi ethnic, multi-cultural plural society it must enhance and increase the cohesive social fabric to a higher level of social togetherness. Smart City Mission envisaged the development that can only be achieved by maintaining this balance.

Development of Smart city Haldia should be inclusive and it must take all section of society in the fold. Up liftmen of the poorest of poor of the society should be objective of the building a futuristic smart city.
