Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

The lock important for safe custody of any items, papers, goods,etc.., but, it more important that,it should be available to the person when it is required or kept in custody or lock for the specific purpose use to such items or things etc..,Therefore, Digital lock should have 3 barriers of password, which can be opened only, when person used, 3 stage password to open the lock, but, the facilitied to the owner must have available to open if he forgot the password, without any major damage.

Relate it with Immigration department or embassy with some unique id or something, as many countries need assessment/validation of your educational certificates etc..for which anyone have to visit universities, which is difficult for someone who is doing job in south india and completed education from north india.

There are many stake holders who are asking for repeat information from customers so it is required to initiate the activities pertaining to e-KYC. Link the e-KYC to Aadhar and other government schemes. Collect information from citizens and allow access of these information to the stake holders (i.e. Bank, Post-office, LPG agents, Demate agency, employers and like). have periodic update of the information. This will the great help to the citizens on feeding repeat information.

most of the Indians doesn't have Aadhar card/number. then why we are not keeping it as optional. My Suggestion is to make user friendly like, provide option for log in either through PAN details or Aadhar details.

we can start up with limited space availability and later if any individual needs more space then he/she has to pay for the same. and we can use the user as PAN and password created by user along with OTP on phone and registered mail ID both. as we know that this entire set up need excess fund so why not we contribute through this way. pay for excess space scheme will also block the users those who want to keep unnecessary things in this Digital Locker.
