India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

Through pradhan mantry dhan jan yojana,during opening bank account,blood test for Diabetes ,HIV ,TB and haemoglobin for anemia periodically can make this easier.We can further link them directly through RSBY for further management.All RSBY families must have their blood tested during enrol ment and whenever any claims are submitted by hospitals under this scheme there should manadtory preventive check up for rest of the family who is not hospitalised.

Respected sir, regarding this i would like to say that ASHA role is very important in this, they have to trained in detecting weight lose of village people n specially the females whose husband go to outside for earning bcoz they r most susceoptible for this due to unprotected sex n every T.B. patient should be screened for HIV ASHA can detect patients on root level n after being checked at P.H.C. level n found positive, they should be noted n referred to district for proper guidance n early AR

swach bharat avhiyan is a good start for the swast bharat.but as we know habits are hard to change.i would like to suggest every shop (big or small) registered under muncipality or town committee should keep a dustbin outside his/her shop premises and it should be clearly stated on the form for filling or renewal of a licsense for a shop.i think this cuold help a little more to our avhiyan

Sir i think more importance to be given to AYUSH (ayurveda, yoga, unani, sidda and homeopathy) even while people claiming for medical expense bill for government officials these branches also must be given a chance, otherwise using only Allopathy medicines which cost more and more and also has got lot of side effects and more costilier, if the ailment is not cured by AYUSH then one can go for allopathy this can be made sir as our BABA RAMDEV has got many ideas in this field this can be used

RAISE THE AWARENESS LEVEL RIGHT FROM THE GRASSROOT LEVEL.OUR MAIN PURPOSE SHOULDN'T BE EARLY DETECTION ONLY BUT TO PREVENT THIS DISEASE TO HAPPEN....

can anybody tell if there will be one child ..is there any chances that he will become terrorist,,poor,,it is 1000% chances he will get good education he will get good job,,,there would not be dirty places due to lac of population

Respected PM Modi Ji what about population control in india...........root of problem of poverty,,terrorism,,pollution,,,beggar,,, low quality of standard of life....dirty places every where........if there will be only one or two child max almost 99% no chances for poverty,,terrerism,,polution.......i think if modi is really care about india & indian he should make van of population.......
