India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

Homoeopathy is now emerging as a promising system in the health care. it is the very duty of government to support that. many homoeo colleges are lacking proper governance and skilled staff. the main threat to homoeo is not from any other but from its own untrained and unskilled disciples. modi ji please take necessary steps to ensure the safety of this medical art which can help our indians with a good health at very reasonable and low cost. it is now flooded with unskilled doctors.pleas

HIV tests should be compulsorily carried out whenever blood tests are done and all positive cases should be reported to the state. The tests should be done by the state..

It is a fact that many AIDS patiemnts turn hostile towards the whole world and do not hesitate to pass on the disease. They should be counselled first. Then we should make sure that they are not treated as out-castes once the disease is detected. Some mechanisms should be evolved whereby they are able to live peacefully and should be given jobs with lesser public contacts so that all will be happy. Online jobs at home would be the best alternative.

So in summary to eradicate poverty from India, people and Govt should attack on the right issues after analysing the actual causes for financial pressure on people and relieving themm from those triggers. No populist scheme will work otherwise, people will prefer to be called poor to take advantage of these schemes. instead ppl should be encouraged to work and get outot the status of being poor. More populist schemes means more rules, more burden on govt machinery, more corruption and more poor
