India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

for early detection of HIV , govt must start something as "anonymous HIV testing centers ' where oral HIV tests are available. no information must be collected , which will allow more people to come and get them tested .

Sir i have a suggestion on CGHS scheme extended to the Central Government Employees.. Scarp the CGHS facility to the government employees and offer the Medical Insurance to all Employees and their families. This reduces the unwanted expenditures in the CGHS departments (On medicines, on Private Hospital Lobbying for various services rates and many more). I have a strong feeling India can save a money and also offer quality services to their employees and their families through Insurance.

Modiji, you raise the standard of living of Indians only when you reduce dependence on the $. One man in Washington can ruin your plans by raising US interest rates. A small country Philippines has a stronger currency against the $ than the rupee! How come? Target imports and make in India. Increase quality of life! Reduce dependence on oil. Explore fuel cells for cars. Make defence equipment in India. Reduce $ buying! You are on the right track.Colonialism ends when you are financially free!

Dear PM, Medicine are very important and should be available cost effective for all citizen. medicine profit should be under control with out effecting research. For Medicine company it should compulsory to invest their profit portion on research. Their should be a fix profit for every medicine distribution channel so that citizen can get medicine on less price. Now retailer getting profit upto 500% on medicine. Generics medicine available on high MRP. All profit of generics going to retailers.
