As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

It is very important to gradually phase out fossil fuels like coal and give more thrust on renewable energy but we will have to realise that it is easier said than done. We will haveto burn coal in efficient ways such as by using the method of gasification or by using 'fluidized bed boilers'. Both these methods reduce the amounts of harmful pollutants like sulphur dioxide,. Nitrogen dioxide etc. This way we can continue using fossil fuels until infrastructure for renewable.energy is not set up

The Banks are giving House Building Loans to people in City -thety are not giving Loan for making houses in Villages, Also the intrest rate charged on loans to farmers are much higher. While the Businessmans are main defaulters of Bank Loan. Why only farmers and village people are suffering. Farmmers mustBgiven reduced rate loan compared to Businessman by Banks- Also Seperate loan Approval Agency Not Bank-to avoid unnecessary delay in sanction of loan/reduced corruption

Now These days India is facing problem of milk Production. Even In village, people are not interested in having animals. There are some regions why people are interested as below: 1. Shortage of feed (grass, crops, sorghum). 2. Low production of milk per animal 3. Lack of fund (It is due to inflation) 4. Small land per family 5. Using machines in agriculture By encourage farmers for having animals in there family, will increase milk production.
