As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

in case of land acquisition, not only to agriculturist land lord, but,the labour doing the field to produce the crops, should be given assurance of one family members of emplyment or service in the company or unit of acuisition. because,no.'s of labours are more than landlord agriculturist. while, opposition misleading the people by forwarding labour ahead, most of agriculturists are happy with bill, but, if the labour is seprated from land lord, it will be easy and benificial to all.

Sir, You have done a lot of work to make image of India in abroad and given a way for foreign investment . Now, it is my humble suggestion please ask your team to tell ground reality and motivate the people how they can groom their life style / get rid of day to day problems by their optimistic approach at the earliest to fulfill your dream/vision. It should be taken on top priority and be a blow to the pessimistic / negative approach people because they are unfit to deliver goods as you do.

I didn't find any area to suggest ideas for animals, so i choose this area to give my suggestions. I want to introduce to MODIji the concept of "WORLD VEGETARIAN DAY", on which all the residents of country will asked not to eat and buy non-vegetarian product. It will be a little step towards our dumb friends and may become a mass movement in future. It's increase also become a opportunity for FARMERS, as people eat more veg..

Please go with the slogan of self sufficient villages. For developmental projects, and land acquisition the importance or the order of priority of importance of different kinds of projects should be implemented. The less important ones like Digging canals in high rainfall areas or unnecessary areas taken up in karnataka should be less priority.

Sir, Its been long time since we are hearing about the heavy usage of pesticides in farming. And we are seeing its consequences where young people less than 40 are falling prey to Diabetics and other health issues. I have read articles and watched many videos about "Zero Budge farming" by Subhash palekar. I feel excited for his efforts promoting farming without pesticides. Why don't you push the same to farmers and encourage them to use such methodology?palekarzerobudgetspiritualfarming.org
