In the name of Greening India so much money has been spent on advertisements in the media, meetings, conferences, seminars and various activities. Surprisingly they do not contribute to the greening of India by planting a sampling. Ensure that all the activities culminate in action. India needs action not a debate on this.

Sir, Directions of N.G.T for Zero Liquid Discharge for Distillery Industry by incineration technique in general without mentioning the production capacity, It is my humble submission kindly ask to review direction and adopt lenient view for 10 - 25 K.L.P.D production capacity because it requires heavy investment. Smooth running of unit depends on the availability of raw material. It is to be noted they run only 270 days in a year. They can improve by 3R i.e.Measure,Monitor and Minimise water use.

Sir, Distillery industry have a lot of potential of national growth for Rural India. Industry trap Alcohol from the waste of Sugar factory i.e. Molasses and perished grains. Waste of distillery , spent wash is alternative source of energy and organic manure by Bio-composting. Norms/ Direction laid down of Zero Liquid Discharge by N.G.T to adopt incineration for Distillery require review to save Industry and Energy.Industry should run treatment plant efficiently to achieve norms by 3R waste.

Sir, Adoption of 3R technology as suggested for the conservation of natural resources i.e. Water in the zeal of abatement of water pollution of waste (spent wash)in Distillery Industry by Incineration technique is not Techno-economic viable. It is to be noted that country is facing the scarcity of power and industry is being run by D.G.sets too. By effective treatment one can get rid of polluted streams with nominal expenses. We have to save water by 3R technique and avoid incineration.

Sir,
Many of our members given valuable ideas, none of the ideas used or followed.
The immediate requirement of our farmers is Water
So joining all Indian Rivers project must be started on War Foot.
Then Power
Instead of depending on Thermal & Atomic Power plants, best alternative is Solar power for In house & Wind power mills for Motor related requirements.
Third, Good Seeds which can Survive without any Chemical Fertilizers or Insecticides. Can You save India or Pass time like Congress?
