नहीं तो वाही होगा --economy of village - rural india will collapse

Safe and clean food just like clean water is the right of a citizen. We can become self-reliant. The Govt. can promote organic kitchen/ terrace farming in each house. This is being successfully implemented by the Kerala Govt. Any scheme to succeed requires the cooperation of people. With proper advertisements, we can aware the women and get their cooperation. Central govt. can help a lot in this case by spreading awareness program, thereby empowering the women population to stand on their feet.

Hon'ble Prime Minister,
We need to classify the use of water and energy in agricultural sector as priority now. These are two resources which are highly subsidized to the farmers and on other hand the these resources are highly essential for coninuous agricultural growth. Climate enabled crop choices, modern ICT enabled extension systems linked with food value chains and modern resource efficieny techniques would really enable farmers sustain their livelihoods. Some initiatives on www.cipt.in

Statutory bodies & other schemes framed with care are failing even in Era of Rule of Law.Why,The main cause is persons who man these bodies & schemes carve out exceptions to go against the dictates of laws & ravage the machinery enforcing the laws causing failure of whole things.Only Intelligent people who are honest should find a place as Public Officials otherwise even Banks will fail on stress tests.Theoretical practice Practically achieved is the best that can be achieved.

Sir, with increasing population the need of food security is urgent & as a stable nation it is our collective responsibility to prevent hunger & malnutrition. Towards this end we have to make agriculture viable with use of technology, drip irrigation, soil study & preservation, limit use of fertilisers and have a more robust research in cereal & pulse cultivation. Milk production and cattle rearing will also require a thrust. A cow in every rural home can sustain the family in several ways.
