Existence of insanitary latrines is the root cause of manual scavenging. As per the ‘Houselisting and Housing Census Data, 2011’, there were about 26 lakh insanitary latrines in the country in 2011. All existing insanitary latrines need to be identified and either demolished or converted into sanitary latrines under the provisions of the MS Act.

What innovations can be used to convert insanitary latrines into sanitary latrines in shortest possible time?

Traditionally, swachhata karamcharis or bhangis were meant to do all cleaning activities of society. All these jobs were to be carried out using meager tools and tackles and in some instances with bare hands. Due to the Government of India's SWM 2000 and Prohibition of Manual Scavenging Acts, these inhuman tasks are now not permitted in the country of India. We at Kam-Avida Enviro Engg bring to you a mechanized solution to garbage collection, drain cleaning and road sweeping. Lets Clean India !

sir.manual scavenging can be removed by our simple approach regarding segregation of organic(sabji k chilke, kitchen ka kachra..jo khane ki chizo ka ho) and inorganic( plastic ke bags, wafer k paket,) waste. municipalities should promote people to use two type of dust bins for organic and inorganic waste. plastic bags choked our drainage lines which made it compulsory for our scavengers to do manual scavenging. Its my humble request to all the citizens of india to avoid mixing of both waste.

Good Morning Sir, I request for early commencement of Mining in Goa. Pls look into the matter urgently as a Shipping Trade we are also loosing our China Market. Revenue generated from export of Iron Ore from Goa, will serve better economy for India Finance Ministry. Our other competetor from Brazil, Australia, South Africa already started their export in low price to China, and we India still not exported any shipment to China from commencement of this season, huge loss to our nation.
