Existence of insanitary latrines is the root cause of manual scavenging. As per the ‘Houselisting and Housing Census Data, 2011’, there were about 26 lakh insanitary latrines in the country in 2011. All existing insanitary latrines need to be identified and either demolished or converted into sanitary latrines under the provisions of the MS Act.

What innovations can be used to convert insanitary latrines into sanitary latrines in shortest possible time?

Biometric latrine should be made every where because water supply problem. In most of government building bathroom facility available but latrine facility not available. where officer have latrine facility in his/her own chamber only but for staff and litigants don't have this common facility. Like collector office, tehsil office , district court office where litigants visit in thousand in a day. in this places the government work show and people interacting with government directly.

Start teaching sanitation to kids in the school via practical starting from play schools. Parents are not going to change in near future. Its only the children of this country who can bring about this change.

Unplanned cities, unawareness about sanitation and corruption are the some of causes leading to manual scavenging. Coming up of Unplanned settlements without basic facilities such as Toilets, sewage/sewerage lines is a major reason behind it. As far as old settlements are concerned, clean community toilets should be provided at nominal and reasonable monthly/yearly charges to discourage peoples using/opting for unhygienic toilets.

Respected PM it is my pleasure to give idea to make our country No 1 in world by the withdraw the all type of reservation in all field. Reservation should be on the basis of income of a poor family. A person whose father also get reservation while he got a class I job , how he want reservation whereas his father is class I officer. A gen clerk do his best always in his job not get permotion in time but a reserved person get fast permotion without doing his task in office.

This does not require any innovation, the household wise Census data 2011 should be shared with MODWS and MODWS should direct the concern States to verify each and every household and convert the insanitary latrine to sanitary one. To stop the construction of ISL for all a massive awareness campaign may be launched.

1) all home should be connected with inland pipeline to clear water & waste. 2) all villagers should be educated how to use toilet. 3) to remove intensity government must start OIL , DIESEL AND PETROL etc through pipe line to all over india so all drivers who are free.they should be joined in the work of clean india with sufficient salary from government so traffic will be less on road and pollution too remove.

First a written warning should be reach on each house to convert their toilet with monitory punishment if they don’t and financial assistant if they willing to convert. Second, Govt. has to take undertaking, with such household who want to convert their toilet that temporary toilets will be provided 24x7 hours round the clock with water till modified toilet is ready in such committed household. Technical problem can be solved by public health department, Hudco.
