Existence of insanitary latrines is the root cause of manual scavenging. As per the ‘Houselisting and Housing Census Data, 2011’, there were about 26 lakh insanitary latrines in the country in 2011. All existing insanitary latrines need to be identified and either demolished or converted into sanitary latrines under the provisions of the MS Act.

What innovations can be used to convert insanitary latrines into sanitary latrines in shortest possible time?

As part of Clean India mission, Ministry should advise Municipalities to maintain Dog homes and get residential areas and neighborhood free of stray dogs besides immunization and sterlisation. In addition, strict rules for pet owners for systematically picking up poo while walking pets. Dogs carry lots of viruses with them and keep infecting all esp elders and children as they have low immunity. ike Ringworm, fungus, ticks etc Even ebola virus in dogs without symptoms passed to humans.

Respected Sir, As per some news boxer Sarita Devi had to borrow appeal money from journalist and players as IOA officials sneaked out of the venue at the first sign of trouble. If the result of the bout wasn't injustice enough, the IOA officials added insult to injury. http://www.firstpost.com/sports/shameful-sarita-borrows-appeal-money-journalist-ioa-officials-sneak-away-1738345.html Please investigate this matter and take appropriate actions. -Thanks.

Sir same case in police and judicial system. Number of person required high but state government not hairing for that mujh person that require. Central government should pass a order that all vacant sheets will fill with in 2 months by all state governments. And if they are facing fund problem then review there schemes and close down unwanted schemes and fill all vacent post that will provide employment and also high leaving of standard and government work done fast and on time basic.

I have developed the zero water urinal by connecting with nature.when there is a will there is a way and a sure shot way.I have found the way and can share more ideas on this.People need to be mentally elevated and made aware that they are responsible for the waste they generate and theres no third person who is going to clean it for them. the 'polluter pays principle' should be bought into practice to have a 'swacchha sundar bharat'.one needs to be more responsible and accountable.stop blaming

Connect with nature and the problem resolves by itself. need to connect human urine(exclusively) with trees and vegetation and the problem is solved.greenery (sustainable greenery) can be created in and around schools, bus stands, railway stations, etc by combining the facilities waste water to public urinals and finally to plants.break the concrete and tiles n let the natures call connect with nature.Close down the Fertiliser companies n urine will be on high demand from the farmers.priya
