Most of the Rain water flows into sea during rainy season so check dams to be constructed in an interval of 1 Km distance along the river / rivulet to store the water along the river / rivulet.

1) Rainwater harvesting in all approved buildings, both residential and commercial should be made mandatory. While residential harvest pits will be maintained within the building, commercial harvest pits will be maintained as a water storage pond for every 5 sqkm area with 80ft (length)*80ft (breadth)*15ft(depth). (2) Wastewater from buildings can also be re-cycled and distributed at a nominal cost. 3) Desalination plants. Maintenance and regular ranking of these systems within limits is a must.

I have two ideas to save water. I shared these ideas with PM office and other ministry. We can think over it with these basic ideas.
1) Provide additional LEVER at bottom which can be controlled by feet and we can do our work like shaving, washing utensils with hands.
2) Additional Small Water Tanks in each flat which will reduce the pressure of water and leads to save water. The detailed information is given in attached sheet.

In Our Country INDIA, we are using generally only Municipality Water, family of 4 members using 500 - 1000 Lt of water as per their requirements, only 10- 20 Lt of water is use for drinking & app. may be 60 - 100 Lt of water for bathing.
Rest water for flushing, cleaning & washing of clothes or etc.
KINDLY THINK THIS & SAVE THE NATION'S WATER.

THE SOLUTION TO THE WATER CRISIS SPECIALLY IN MAHARASHTRA CAN BE SOLVED BY ERECTING DESALINATION PLANT BY NIOT(GOVT ORG).PLANT IN GANPATI PULE WILL SOLVE MARATHAWADA WATER CRISIS AS IT IS JUST 18 K.M AWAY FROM GANPATI PULE.PLANT IN MUMBAI CAN ARRANGE TO DELIVER WATER IN LATUR. THE WHOLE OF MAHARASHTRA IS SUFFERING FROM WATER CRISIS, HENCE THINGS WILL HAVE TO BE DONE IN WAR FOOTING. .PREVIOUS GOVTS DID NOT WORK TO SOLVE SUCH CRUCIAL PROBLEM-DO IT NOW AND U WILL GET GOODWILL/POLITICAL SUPPORT.

Currently there are no for consumers incentives for reduced consumption of water. Consumers must be given a 'Consumption incentive' if their current month's consumption is less than the last 3 months' average. Incentive slabs can be built (for example 0-10% saving, 10% to 50% and 51% to 100% saving and so on). The money saved can be displayed prominently on the monthly water bill like what big retailers do. This will motivate consumers to save water.

I take a leaf from PM's idea of demarcating field boundaries by growing trees at agriculture fields in villages for timber cultivation to boost farmer incomes. The idea can be extended to plots in urban areas. The plots can have tall trees, Ashoka and like, instead of existing cement concrete / metal wires etc. This will increase green cover and help in additional rains by attracting more clouds. Thank you.
