Dear railway..
A lotbof timeas, i have seen that even if there is no luggage though bogies are sealed..
Please make govt. Officers(Specially Babu's) answerable for such carelessness...
If they began work properly, i m sure railways will enjoy 2-3% more...

One more thing. We should have compulsory pantry car for all the trains and outside food should be banned. This way our railways can earn money by providing good quality food at reasonable price.

I think Indian Railways running loss only due to very low fare for unreserved tickets. This should be increased atleast 20%. People can say that poor people can't affort this. However I had seen poor people using State Owned buses frequently by paying high price. Hence we should start increasing this fare immediately

Hi Sir,
Thanks for taking inputs from the people of India. This is the for the first time the Govt of India is taking inputs from people of India.
Below are the ideas:
1.We can design the old train bogies into restaurant and this will attract the visitors. State basis restaurants can be inbuilt by using old bogies.
2.Charge a minimal entry fees from Taxi's , auto's
3.A small movie theatre can be built in, which runs 24hrs.

Block leakages. One quick observation on Kolkata Howra Railway station. I kept my bags in cloak room for few hours. I was issued receipt of payment in pink paper in single copy. On collection of my luggages receipt was demanded back and no issuance of any document of payment. Make sure issue of computerised receipt from clock rooms of all railway station with proper accounting. These money could be used against the Union Government of India into West Bengal and North east India. Urgency is must.

Respected Sir,
I would also like to add that special trains can be given for wedding reception, birthday parties etc.
The corner of stations could be given on rent for small offices.
Railways could tie-up with hotels and can guide passengers who are on trips.
Railways can make arrangements about complimentary tasting of food to its passengers of new products of food industry.

Respected Sir,
In my view by following measures the non fare revenue could be increase substantially.
1. The Corporates should be allotted the stations for advertisements.
2. The Advertisement should also be allowed in compartments of long run trains. For e.g the bedwsheets advt can be displayed in the sleeper coach, the soaps, detergents, toilet cleaners Advt can be displayed near wash basin or toilets.
3. The Corporates should be allowed to advertise their product by Display Holding
