soft music can be played in day time when train is running in regular interval it make people happy in trains & in stations too, easy day market A girl feel safe even in night. You can create all in one app in which people type name of stations and they get icons of hotels in city, help line nos, tourism place in city, markets, taxi, etc you will earn revenue for registering them for valid period, big screen out side station for advertisement.

Railways owns hundreds of overbridges all across the country and mostly where there is dense traffic. These have side walls for protection. These spaces can be used for advertisements. These spaces could be leased out. This way not only will revenue be generated but also cost of maintenance will come down since now it would be maintained by the company that has leased it.

provide a new coaches like bus ie seats are flexible with good windows.provide 2 or 3 coaches for trains between major stations where buses are more so that more passengers can be travelled and keep the rates less than bus. Most of the second seating coaches are not comfortable.and later you can add air conditioning and other entertainment's like tv or fm.make it available During night journey only so that you get customers from those who prefer bus ,and provide comfort timings

Hi. We have 67000km of railway lines. Install solar panels above the tracks. If we assume panels about 8 metre wife and cover 70%of the track length, we would have 375 Sq km of solar panels. At 64 MW per sq km ( same as Kamuthi solar plant) we can generate 24000 MW. This calls for huge investment, but can generate huge returns. This will be the biggest green initiative in the world.

earlier pune-mumbai sinhagad express had double decker bogeys. This doubled people carrying capacity of bogey. It was discontinued due to proximity to overhead cables. These bogies can be reintroduced on routes which are not electrified. Also if non metal bogies are made raditation from overhead cable can be reduced. Also non-metal bogies will heat up less, require less fans and AC.

Railway should use their vacant space of station by construct shop and rent out these space only to those unemployed people or who want to start their own business by resignation from job. It's steps towards to self employment.

Railway should start selling of famous product of city where it passes during its journey. Example: if somebody going Jammu to Delhi via rohtak. He can purchase "GULAB BRAND REWARI & GAZZAK" in the train & should have the facility for online booking on Railway portal.
