undertake large scale water harvesting - use this water to clean tracks / bogies. water bills costs will reduce. cleanliness will bring more people.

Mumbai locals have on-board public announcement systems, such should be installed on other trains and advertisements (voice / radio) / public messages played during day time.

Mobile & Aadhar enabled ticketing for commuters & Aadhar based platform ticketing can cut short cost & also restrict unauthorized people roaming, affecting security & causing threats !

R/Sir,
Pl allow all advertising companies to display their products on each compartments by painting for 6months/one year & thus enabling travelers & local viewers to watch & same may be applicable for Govt projects/advertisements to reach to masses as strong railway network is capable of reaching last mile ! Companies in turn will maintain the cleanliness of the compartments by deputing local agencies, enabling jobs.Radio channels to come forward & advertise Govt policies, other products !

Am proposing only zero cost implementation ideas which might increase the safety, security and pleseant experience of train travels.
1. Like in airport only the passengers should be allowed into the platform. Profit from platform ticket would be a loss. But security cost will decrease.
2. Luggage weight control system. More the load beyond presribed allowance charge the passengers. This will result is best space utilization and controlling rude passengers while increasing the profit.
