SECURITY is a prime concern for many travelers. If there are steps taken such as having CC Tv, alarm system where POLICE can be alerted, it will encourage many people to use RAIL as a medium of transport.I think that will generate additional revenue.

Respected RailMinister,
1.I am with my experience want to give my suggestion related to special coach attachment of for our army persons. All we accept the army persons are keeping us protected with enemies of our countries. So that we can sleep silently. We usually see that in many trains general coaches are occupied by army men and the civelians couldn't get space even in emergencies.
There should be coach of militerycoloured so that civil person will not enter their coaches.

Sir, the non-fare revenue may be increased only when the weighing / volumetric systems for the charges are made tamper proof with the help of electronic measurement system integrated with the Computerized billing will stop the wrong doings. But even today the Railways use the old manual weighing systems which are always manipulated.

An Indian Railways- News, Entertainment & Education Channel Communities can easily be created for Smartphones and Feature phones by the IIT/IIM Citrusplatform app - "SuperChat", with unlimited groups. This could feature ALL newspapers and syndicated content. Contact Amit Bose CEO. Revenues could be generated using a Rev Share model and also Advertisers for presenting adverts . Finally with enough users of the app ..it becomes an Analytics Revenue goldmine. So many instant Polls on any topic too.

And explore the possibilities of changing the train rooftop into a transperant one for maximum use of sunlight so that electricity is used at night only .And on the resevation counter you can display that from which station seats would be available which are vacated by the passenger who get off at middle stations

i have many views in past also i have given ideason tweeter to RM but ithink he is not interesting in implementing the idea, in railways 50% of money is being spent on saloons which are given to railway offcers. if this saloon culture will end manny many croes will be saved.these saloons shlould given on rent and revenues will autmatically increases. All class 1 railway officers are living like maharajas their whole salary is remains unspend. when this culture will go.

Continue with my earlier suggestion, if there is chair car coaches in every train then some stations have a train in every 5 minutes and passenger can get their seats earlier without waiting like metro trains.
