You have seen him on television, heard his speeches on the internet, visited his historic rallies and 'followed' him on social media. Now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to interact with you through the radio!
From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Maharashtra to Manipur the PM would interact with the people of India.
The PM wants you to outline the nature and structure of the radio address. He wants to know the following aspects of the address from you:
Frequency of the address
(How often should the address be- monthly, once in two months, once in three months? Should the days be decided- for example 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at a fixed time 11AM)
Nature of the address and topics
(What ground should it cover- should it be a general address to the nation or should it cover specific topics such as good governance, women empowerment, self-sufficiency in defence)
Structure of the address
(What format should it follow)
Name of the address
(Suggest a title for the series of addresses. The name must be creative and capture the true essence behind such a programme)

So, share your views and become a part of yet another landmark idea that celebrates India and India’s unity.

The addresses should bimonthly, the more frequency will harm its charm and quality. It should be covering specific topic (to be more effective). The topics should be pre- published, well in advance to collect the views of citizens and their grievances and could be covered. The must part is feedback after the address and the SOLUTIONS and its IMPLEMENTATION.

FREQUENT ADDRESSES THROUGH MEDIA BY HONORABLE PM DEFINITELY TOUCH THE HEARTS OF THE COMMON MAN. IT MOTIVATES, ENCOURAGES THE YOUTH TOWARDS THE NATION BUILDING. WE FEEL THAT PM IS LEADING BY EXAMPLE. SHOULD CONTINUE.

Only 2-3 topics per speech so that they can be discussed by public thereafter. Total time per speech not to exceed 40 mins since people lose interest if it exceeds beyond that time.

Too much frequency is not Good. It will become routine & loose relevance. Unless very month 2-3 states are spoken about in specific

Address the children- ask them to stop their parents from throwing garbage on the road and in open areas. Ask them to discuss how corruption is destroying society(This will make the corrupt parents feel guilty)

Before initiating this program, please make sure that all villages and cities of India have radio connectivity. In my own town ie Chiplun, which is second largest town in Ratnagiri district of Maharshtra, we are not able to listen All India Radio or local Akashwani stations. Whereas BBC Hindi and China radio international are clearly audible. Radio is a simple, economical and user friendly medium of communication. Specially for aged people and people with visual impairment.
