National Statistical Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has released a Discussion Paper titled “Methodological Improvements in Compilation of National Accounts Aggregates Using Expenditure Approach”. This exercise is part of the preparation for the new series of National Accounts Statistics with FY 2022–23 as the base year, which is scheduled for release on 27 February 2026.

The Discussion Paper outlines the proposed methodological refinements and improvements in the compilation of National Accounts aggregates using the Expenditure Approach, with the objective of enhancing the quality, accuracy, and usability of national accounts data.

Comments and feedback on the Discussion Paper are invited from experts, academicians, government bodies, state governments, financial institutions, users of national accounts data, and other stakeholders. Suggestions may be shared at: ddg3.nad@mospi.gov.in by 7 January 2026.

माननीय प्रधान मंत्री जी मै गांव में प्राथमिक उपचार देने वाला स्वास्थ कार्यकर्ता हूं। मैंने अभी तक लगभग दो दर्जन हार्ट अटैक मरीज की सांसे सीपीआर देकर लौटा दी है। हार्ट अटैक मरीज के लिए हमें लोग देवदूत बोलने लगे हैं। मैं चाहता हूं कि पूरे देश के लोग ए जाने की मैने उस गोल्डन आवर का प्रबंधन कैसे किया। । मैंने स्कूलों में हजारों बच्चों को प्रशिक्षित किया है।। हमारे जैसे सेवा देने वाले कई और लोग देश में होगें। उन्हें सम्मानित करने की एक खुली व्यवस्था देश में होनी चाहिए।

Along with methodological improvements, it would be valuable to include indicators that reflect sustainability and social well-being. Integrating environmental and long-term impact considerations can make national accounts more relevant for future policy decisions. National accounts can be strengthened by not only measuring economic activity, but also reflecting long-term sustainability and inclusive growth.

Products(All types such as created for edible & usable, ..) 2.Services(All types such as Insurance, medical, education, security, journey, entertainment, ..) 3. Infrastructures(All types such as every public constructive structures) 4. Environment(Air quality, Water Quality, Food Quality,..) 5. Transports/Travelling Vehicles & others vehicles. 6. Others- Religious places, Organizations, Companies, factories, Education centers, Hospitals, Libraries, hotels, homes, lands, banks, blood banks, census, data banks, public halls, crimes, crops, printed/electronic reading sources, etc.
