In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

In the 2014 union budget, it was announced that the entry fee for national parks and museums all over India will be halved to promote nature/science interest in public at large. Unfortunately this never came in force. I stay in Mumbai, where there's Sanjay Gandhi National Park. This is visited by maximum (in world) number of people. Here every year, a10% rise in all fees are implemented. Exactly opposite of what was suggested. I urge you to reduce the fees and allow rise only once in 3 years.

Please allocate adequate funds for infrastructure of education system The Quality and morality as well as dedication of teachers should be ensured. The drop out rate should be checked. Yojana for compulsory education for all upto 10th class atleast should be ensured. The intermediate graduation post graduation andResearch should be encouraged. It's an all India necessity to imbibe nationalistic ideas and dedication to the constitution and it's values The teachers should be paid in time.

Hon'ble Madam, Please Consider change in the Income Tax rate like 1. Upto 5 lakhs - nil, 2. 5 to 10 lakhs -10%, 3. 10-20 lakhs - 20% and 4. Above 20 lakhs - 30%

1. MSP for Fruits and vegetables for farmters. 2. On demand agriculture electric connection to farmers. 3. New Scheme PM Gramin Talab Yojana. 4. Introduction of State Run Lottery to prevent public from illegal betting. 5. Rationalisation of Income tax and uniform tax for all and lower tax for working army personnel 6. Railway modernisation with increase in speed of trains 7. Lifting ban on all items to prevent black marketing, loss of revenue to government and discourage corruption

Dear Sir, We are from Keerthi Industries Ltd; Electronics division. We are manufacturers of Flexible printed circuit boards. as part of our process, we procure Gould potassium cyanide, on which we are paying 18% GST. but on direct gold, it is 3% only. Hence please match this with Gold GST. herewith attaching the representation on the rate of precious metal chemicals(HSN2843) under the GST regime. Thank you!

Higher education especially medical is very costly and is not at all affordable to even middle income group. You may be aware that total cost incurred for a MD is not less than 5 crore. How an individual can afford this and further where from he can earn such return on those huge expenditure after his qualification. Considering the high cost and stress in the profession the demand for medical seats are diminishing. In future finding enough qualified doctors would be very difficult.

There are below mentioned few points which I want to suggest:- 1. The education system fees is required to be in such a level that a middle class common man can also afford the monthly fees of child's education. There should be a barrier on private school fees. 2. I appreciate the agenda Housing for all but here again a middle class doesn't get anything. Since as per the current criteria we are not from BPL & also not from Upper Classes. So here again we don't get the benefit of PMAY.
