Please reduce GST rates by at least 40%. This will boost demand. To compensate revenue loss please increase checking on road and shops. Please achieve 100% compliance by checking. Please consider special lower GST rates for smaller companies ( turn less than 1.5 Cr). This will give them level playing field with bigger companies who has more pricing power than small companies. Before GST smaller companies has same advantage in tax. Do not worry about fiscal deficit. We need more growth.

MY SUGGESSIONS ARE 1. INCREASE EXEMPTION LIMIT ON PERSONAL INCOME TAX, DO AWAY WITH REBATES, CESS AND SURCHARGES AS THESE ONLY LEAD TO CONFUSION AND PROMOTE TAX EVASION.Eg. REBATE ON INCOME LESS THAN 5 LAC, SURCHARGE ON HIGHER INCOMES etc. 2. ONLY 2 OR 3 SLABS OF INCOME TAX. PERSONAL TAX SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN CORPORATE TAX. 3. KEEP AN EYE ON INDIVIDUALS NOT PAYING TAX RATHER THAN THOSE ON PAYING REGULARLY. 4. MAKE ALL GST PAID BILLS ONLINE ESP. IN CITIES AND BIG TOWNS.
