Increase the Standard Deduction - Under the New Tax Regime (effective April 2026), the standard deduction is currently ₹75,000. Suggest increasing this to ₹1,00,000 to offset the rising cost of urban living and fuel prices for salaried employees.

Tax Credits for "Green" Households - Propose a Green Tax Credit for households that invest in rooftop solar, rainwater harvesting, or home EV charging stations. This directly involves citizens in India’s Net-Zero 2070 goals.

National Timber Board & Agroforestry - India imports billions in timber. Suggest the creation of a National Timber Board with a ₹1,000 crore outlay to incentivize farmers to plant commercial timber on farm boundaries. This acts as a long-term "fixed deposit" for farmers and helps reach the 33% green cover goal.

Village-Level "Value Addition" Hubs - Suggest a scheme for Panchayat-level Processing Units. Instead of selling raw crops, farmers could use shared machinery to mill flour, extract oil, or dry fruits. This keeps the "value-added" profit in the village and creates local jobs for rural women.

"Study in India" Tax Rebates for Parents - With the rising cost of higher education, suggest that tuition fees for recognized professional degrees in India (Medical, Engineering, Data Science) be made 100% tax-deductible for parents under the New Tax Regime, specifically for those in the middle-income bracket.

"AI-Ready" Rural Schools - Propose a dedicated fund to establish AI and Robotics Labs in rural government secondary schools. While Atal Tinkering Labs exist, a specific "Rural Tech Mission" would ensure that children in villages have the same access to cutting-edge technology as their urban counterparts.

Following are my suggestions for budget 2026-27: 1. Post Retirement care should have utmost focus - Exemption for PF/NPS should be reintroduced, as government does not provide any social security benefits 2. Notice Period concept across working class shall be regulated as a part of social security laws. 3. Premium paid for health insurance should be exempt as government healthcare is still very poor across India. 4. Strong law enforcement required at Railways end to plug the revenue leakage and unauthorised travel 5. Vacant Government Lands should be monetised and to be leased for revenue generation 6. LT Capital Gains exemption under Section 112A should be increased for residents to Rs. 2,00,000 per annum from Rs. 1,25,000. For senior citizen, it should be increased to Rs. 6,00,000 per annum. 7. Rationalising manpower across PSU/PSB to reduce unnecessary employee expenses 8. Law enforcement agencies to be empowered to reduce corruption related matters across every corner.

Giving such a huge tax relief will be good for society and for some citizens. Because most citizens may not be able to file ITR. However, I suggest that whenever a citizen files ITR, a minimum amount of Rs. 100/- to Rs. 500/- must be charged at the time of final submitting filing because of Direct benefit in banking sectors job MOU to MOA fmcg , iron , steel and manager post in ground level.
