As India embarks on the journey of breaking into the top 5 major economies of the world there is a need to realize the Prime Minister's goal of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas. One of the foundation pillars for realizing this dream is to upskill and reskill individuals to supplement income and increase livelihood prospects.

A typical family in the Rurban parts of the country is managed by the homemaker who is generally the female member. She spends a substantial part of her day settling a variety of household errands and working through her daily job. However, after all this, she does have a few hours to spare which if put to productive use, could augment the income of the household significantly.

We call in your suggestions and ideas which would help such homemakers explore alternative income sources in their spare time.

1.They can be encouraged to make value added food items from companies providing them with materials and training, say papads,friyums,paneer and milk sweets sacks hygienically. 2.Cloth craft like embroidery, chamki, painting designs in sarees, making garments as per design by companies with proper trg and machines and materials. 3. Data Entry Work both online and offline. 4. IT jobs for IT proficient Women that can be executed at home with minimal or nil attendance at office.

If house maker is living in urban areas there are following work they can do 1) making of crafts related to clowths, 2) I have seen in urban areas there is lagte friend circle of home makers. They can grow in the area of network marketing 3) they have basic computer knowledge then data entry work can be a good choice for them for these type of work they did not need anybtravelling and extra efforts 4) tifin services can also attaract good income

The Home Makers were the basic foundation each family,Our Nation & Our Culture.Their role was not identified & given importance for all these years.They can double their saving for the welfare of their family at any cost.Providing basic infrastructures like Backyard Poultry,Goats ,Cows,VerimeComposte projects will boost their micro- economy & our nation as a whole.
