As India embarks on the journey of breaking into the top 5 major economies of the world there is a need to realize the Prime Minister's goal of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas. One of the foundation pillars for realizing this dream is to upskill and reskill individuals to supplement income and increase livelihood prospects.

A typical family in the Rurban parts of the country is managed by the homemaker who is generally the female member. She spends a substantial part of her day settling a variety of household errands and working through her daily job. However, after all this, she does have a few hours to spare which if put to productive use, could augment the income of the household significantly.

We call in your suggestions and ideas which would help such homemakers explore alternative income sources in their spare time.

The categories are plenty - Cooking and supplying on a daily basis, making some snack types , sauces, pickles, masala etc, special occasions like festival specific dishes, sweets, decorative items etc; Clothes for babies, patients, for younger people: Bed linen, curtains, dining or sofa covers; tailoring, laces, embroidery, knitting, making bags, baskets; jewelry, toys, puja specific items; Reading aloud for audio books, teaching music, dance, prayers, various subjects, gardening & crafts .

கிராம பஞ்சாயத்தின் மூலமாக தினசரி அத்தியாவசியப் பொருட்களை தயாரித்து அதனை Pack செய்து நியாய விலை கடைகளில் விற்பனை செய்யலாம்... இதற்காக தனியான சிறிய வேலை செய்யும் இடம் அல்லது வீட்டிலிருந்த படியே குழுவாக செயல்படலாம்.. உதாரணமாக சமையலுக்கு தேவையான பொருட்கள். கைவினை பொருட்கள்..

Govt can make an app where women offering different talent can register and the small scale industries could be run by making use of their skill. There will have to be certain skill training and certification done by government to understand their skill level, help them improve it and also to be able to contribute using their free time to get both the satisfaction and remuneration.

Pharmacy graduate should also be eligible for lateral entry for MBBS in new education policy designed by government. Because B. Pharmacy course is designed to have complete knowledge of Anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and more detailed study of Pharmacology of medicine like Use, dose, side effects, mechanism of action (More than MBBS course) and the only part left is diagnostic and surgery. 1:Government sponsored and run e-commerce platform to be set up. 2:Homemakers mostly spend their spare time making homemade remedies, handicrafts, exotic items using wastage and available materials. Buy worthy crafts from them through postal department for a fair price and register them as business women. 3:Sell them through e-commerce platform. If they are interested in selling it themselves in the online portal, provide such option. If they seek help in marketing, guidance be given. #MyGov

Hon'ble Prime Minister sir,Mostly,in rural areas especially in the Muslim community women's are treated as housewife,if the men in the family are jobeless then condition become worse.Government must take an initiative so that the women can maintain there dignity and livelihood.As in the Muslim's most of the women follow purdah system Government must consider this and prepare a list of women and may try to give jobs like in teaching etc or give some monetary help so as to uplift there status.

1. skill development centres like for tailoring etc should be setup 2. some corporates either govt institution or private ,the food contract should be given to homemakers, the women collectively works to cook the food in case of big organisation. 3. As neem coated urea is necessary in agriculture, the women should collect the neem seeds and give it to collection centres ,this can generate income and improve economic conditions of them. or making of neem soaps by using neem oil.

1. Register homemakers with respective city/state govt and issue unique ids 2. all filing work/outsourcing work given to companies/MNC can be given with a clause to give atlas 25% local work like filing/data entry/cottage jobs etc to these home makers 3. MNC to register these home makers and give them work 4. salary/stipend subject to max 25K p.m. to become tax free 5. 1 home maker can be allowed only 1 assignment at any given time
