One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

To encourage payments by credit cards it is requested to waive of service tax which is applicable over payment by credit cards and waiver of any surcharges as applicable .As most of payment paid by CC are already charged with service tax like payment of mobile bills, restaurant bills ,railways ticket bookings etc This will defenately enchance the number of persons paying by CC.

Remove tax on bank interest. Remove Income Tax and replace it with expenditure tax on bank transactions except deposits. Stop Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes, let all major transactions be through banks. Implement GST. Ultimately, reach a stage where there are only 4 types of taxes (1)GST (2)Bank transaction tax (3)Corporate Tax and (4) Customs duty. Remove all sorts of subsidies (kerosene, cooking gas, PDS, MNREG) but provide pension and health insurance to all under poverty line.

Instead of all types of taxes and complex system of taxes, bank transaction tax will be most economical and simple. Please implement "Bank transaction tax".

1. Terminate Income tax. It is a big source to horrify the citizens only. 2. Terminate service tax. 3. Impose only one type of tax, either directly or indirectly, instead of more than 22 types of taxes and uncounted duties, fees, levies, charges , etc.

1. In a socialist country like india, there must be upper limit for wadges and wealth like minimum wadges announced by the government. The difference between maximum wadges to minimum wadges/ wealth must be 10000 times only. A difference, more than 10000 times is a sin.

I m saliried man.I have concern on HRA as well as monthly expenditures. As per govt rule, HRA should be 40℅ of basic. Usuall company keeps basic less .So I am paying 12000 rent on bangalore but only 5000 can exempted for tax per month . is it fair? I believe no. Pls bring some policy for actual rent paid exemption.Apart from this I am expanding min 4000 per month for house hold.this amount is not getting consider for tax exemption. As a middle class salaried man, overloaded with tax.So needful.
