The General Aids to Marine Navigation along the Indian Coast is administrated by Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships (DGLL) as per Lighthouse Act, 1927. Over the period of time maritime sector has undergone massive change. There have been enormous technological developments in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation. To incorporate the global best practices, technological developments and India's International obligations in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation, the Draft Aids to Navigation Bill 2020 is prepared to replace existing Lighthouse Act 1927.

The Draft Aids to Navigation Bill (to replace Lighthouse Act 1927) is hereby circulated for comments of all concerned.

Can it have directional beacon/radar to identify & confirm the distance.We have capabilities to produce low cost Geo stationery satellite program & install as many to take care of both land & sea grid depending on the signal & view clarity. Or alternatively inland grid existing microwave towers, Electrical hi tension grid towers,additional towers in airports, high rise govt buil dings depending on locations.The current system an airborne aircraft is in contact with the airport - contd

Navigation bill should contain a combination of maritime & horizon grid.And match lattitude / longitude in squares of a certain convinent propotion to establish totalcontrol over sea & airspace.The grid formation should be based on Google maps for real time identification.We have 5400km of coastline & 3.287 million sq km of land makes it difficult task as large investment is involved.Existing old light houses many in numb er were built with long horizon line for vessels. -----contd--+

In new draft for navigation Bill 2020 information on safety ,fire and hazard control practices and preparedness might have taken as per the fire protection act.

SIRJIII, Future navigation bill have flexible in govt rules . Construct a board with corruption free ,smart and intellectual citizens, if possible include me to get the bill to be implemented earliest. Scrap the old crap bill to develop india by 2025. Sea shore at southern india ,so introduced new ministry to fast implementation. This is will generate Fdi, revenue, employment and overall development of area as well as GDP. thanking you, waiting for suitable reply
