As per the recommendations made in NEP 2020, a set of standards has been developed to ensure that all students at all levels of school education are taught by passionate, motivated, highly qualified, professionally trained, and well-equipped teachers. National Professional Standard for Teachers(NPST) would help in determining the attributes of the teachers at different levels of career pathways. In addition to this, NPST focuses on preparations, practice and performance improvement of all teachers. The standards and related policies are in line with the fundamental principles given in the NEP 2020 to provide high quality education to all. NCTE was mandated by the Ministry to formulate a guiding document and platform for operationalizing NPST.

National Professional Standard for Teachers (NPST) will monitor the design of pre-service teacher education program. This could be then adopted by states and determine all aspects of teacher career management, including tenure, professional development efforts, salary increases, promotions, and other recognitions.

In this regard, a draft document on NPST has been developed by NCTE after incorporating ideas and suggestions received from experts of various domains. The draft document has been released on November 17, 2021 to invite the suggestions and feedback from all stakeholders.

B.ed. courses should not be a sort of just getting good marks and degree. They need to be according to student psychology. 5. Also we see students are more and teachers are less. 6. Teachers should motivate their children to aim nig especially ones who lack behind in education. 7. Teachers should give career guida

History of good teachers is as old as Indian history. it was dronacharaya who built archer out of arjun. it was Ramkrishna Parmahansa who built spiritual leader out of vivekananda ji. It was Chanakya who built Great King out of Chandragupta. Likewise today also we need certain teachers who devote their time and interest in students and we also need such students who think their teacher's respect as equivalent to GOD'S. 1. So first we need to give certain examples of great teachers and great stud

Select teacher based on Aptitude to teach, clarity of the subject and love for the subject. Give him / her rigorous training by qualified persons / labs / research Center for at least one year and keep him under probation later for job. If you don’t find him good by the assessment from students ( secret assessment rating by students ) , then let him leave as purpose of selecting good teacher is not served. Repeat the exercise again.

All the so called teachers who are working through Quota & Reservation should be straight terminated and only IELTS CERTIFIED & PROFESSIONAL TRAINED PEOPLE should be hired as teachers. Indian Education System need a BIG CHANGE and all the Education Institutions should come under GOVT SURVEILLANCE so that JUGAADOO PEOPLE could be FILTERED OUT from the system. Reservation & Quota ke naam par bohot logo ko faayda mil chuka hai. Now it's time to ERASE RESERVATION & QUOTA SYSTEM. I know ye hoga nahi.
