Sir,We can stop using personal vehicle by this way:-
1. Aadhaar attached RTO registration.
2. Re 2/- to be added in each petrol/Diesel liters for tree plantation with Aadhaar attached sale. If he/she will move in public transport 10 times with Aadhaar Proof in a month then 90% of deduction will be return back to his account.
3. Reduce in average consumption minimum (6 months) we have to awarded to the person.
4. Aadhaar attachment of everything will change our attitude.

The one day fuel save itself wrong as we cannot stop nation for a day. However more than 80% daily fuel is saved if we divert private transport first to rail and then buses. Buses requires only 10% of fuel campared to cars and railway only 1%.But both are neglected at ground level. Forget about service and passenger satisfaction. We cannot provide a seat/berth in train and bus. The basic GPS informtion system is not their to know when i will get this vehicle and whether their is seat.

Sir,
To encourage the Masses to Avoid Petrol /Diesel Use for at least for one Day in a week, By issuing parking space token for every employee upto 80% of working day in a month.
For Remaining 20% day of month, everyone may use public transport or bicycle. This idea came from my office.I m working at New ATS complex ,AAI Delhi Palam. One day I saw one of my colleague going out of office through bicycle. I observed, He regularly reach office through cycle. I appreciate him.

and our railway network also need up gradation. our railway system is not up to date for increasing population. many steps can be taken for people encourage or motivate to go for public service transport if the system is suitable for him he will go
for it. In public transport person wants cleanliness, security, punctual and kind of satisfaction and rest.

Government employees should go by bicycle to office once in a week compulsorily.
They can set best examples for others also as government must follow first what it wants by citizens.
In abroad universities even professors go to university by bicycle.

In my understanding if suppose friday is chosen to be the day then a regulation can be made that there cannot be less than 3 or 4 people in a four wheeler and 2 on a two wheeler. For others public transport should be the option. This will encourage car pooling and also help in reducing pollution. Volunteering for this task would be minimal but a regulation can definitely achieve it. Strong public transport is the key to reduce fossil fuel consumption. Enforcement is the only way to get there.
