The best idea can be a device can be manufacturef which converts kinetic centfifugal energy into electrical energy and this energy which will be produced by rotating of wheels of a bicycle can be used to charge a mobile phone and because of this reason people will use bicycles for short distances which will save electricity along with fuel. It will be a good idea because in day to day life a lot of electricity and fuel is wasted on smartphones and vehicles.

-Bicycle paths are best way to encourage people to take biking. If the path is covered with a shed to large extent, more people will take access of that route in hot tropical parts of India.Watchlink
-Organize cycling events and educate people about fossil fuels consumption and green house gas effects.
-As per our Honorable PM's message, It would be nice to organize " Swa Shakti Din " one day in a week like "Fuel Less Monday" etc.. On that day, organization or groups can be formed.

1) For a particular day of every week, the public transport should be declared free or the public transportations should charge minimum fares.
2) the ola/Uber etc. Can services should also include E-rikshas in their services.
3) The Indian government should come up with an app like ola and Uber for E-rikshas and battery cars.
4) traffic polices should have the right to check environment friendly certificate of any vehicle and so should the passengers of public transports

Not to use petrol / diesel vehicles for One day in a week is good thing.
In addition to that all State and Central Government Offices related vehicles and Officers (except Military) should use the Market price fuels, to avoid misuse mainly by them and which is a major burden for the government expenditures.
