We are very much aware with the pollution level of air in the metropolitan cities, why not we avoid the vehicles for a particular saturday of a month? If we can manage the two saturday as a fully holiday for all except some emergency services, and if some one needs use of vehicle on that particular date for any reason has to pay an extra amount of Rs.300 or 500 as levy charges for pollution tax. even movement towards Rly stn and airports may be considered with Rs.50 and Rs.100 to be paid

Companies(mainly corporate) should encourage employees to carpool.
- Each company has their own of recognizing best employee, best team.
They should add points for car pooling and social service etc.
- Start a parking on campus grounds. If they carpool at least for 5 days in a month then give them some kind of pass to park free for the rest of the month.
- This can be implemented by schools too if they car pool their kids they should get some kind of discount in fees.
